Hi, I am Li Zhang (张力), an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Macau. Before joining UM, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin (RFBerlin) and the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM) at University College London (UCL). I received my Ph.D. in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2024 and obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics from Renmin University of China (RUC).
My research interests include labor economics, innovation, development economics, and economics of education.
